What I wore to school today.  It's not super cold thankfully, just cold enough to wear tights and a light sweater and still be comfortable.  Like my headband/earwarmers?  I'm making a purple one for a friend, as well as one in a different style.  Hopefully I'll be able to get some better photos of those.  

And yep, I matched my bow headband with my bow belt.  But my necklace is a moose and my ring is a zebra, so it's not too much! haha

I love animals.  Always have, always will.  Heck, I'm studying to become a veterinarian for crying out loud.  But cats are my secret favorite.

Waiting for Spring

I know we just finished our winter break, but I'm already making plans for spring!  Specifically, spring break.  No, I'm not going to go party and be an idiot.  I'm gonna repaint and redesign my room.  Trust me,  this make-over is much much needed!  The last time I painted it was when I was ten, and my best friend pressured me into choosing a garish neon orange and a quite offensive hot pink.  Maybe I'll take a few pictures of it before I paint so you can see just how hideous it really is.

Anyways, I'm thinking of going with the color palette above, and maybe painting my walls a soft white.  It would be nice to have a clean and simple canvas to work with.  Here's some lovely rooms I've found that serve as terrific inspiration.

So I know it's been forever and a day since I did an outfit post.  I've actually worn plenty of post-worthy ensembles, but there was never time to take pictures.  And on the days when there was time, I was sick.  Yep, that's what happens when the holidays come around.  I always manage to catch something.  Last year, I lost an organ; this year, I lost the ability to sleep.  Fun stuff, huh?

Anyways, this has basically been my go-to outfit when I'm too lazy to get dressed up.  A comfy sweater, skinny jeans or pants, and flat shoes.  It has actually been way to hot for any form of a jacket lately, but I had it with me so of course it was put on for pictures.  It's cooling down now (read dropped below 70), so jackets are able to come out.  Yay!

It's 2012!

These are my goals for 2012.  This is a big year for me; I turn 18 soon, I graduate high school, I get to vote, I become an adult.  It's some scary stuff, I can't believe 2012 is already here.  I don't know if I'm ready for it yet, but I'm going to face it head on.  I want to be adventurous, and this is definitely the year for me to do it.  I will be unafraid.  2012 has got a lot planned for me, and I'm going to live it to the fullest.
